GYTC8Y [metal reinforcement, loose tube layer twisted filling, polyethylene outer sheath communication outdoor optical cable] The structure of the optical cable is to put the single-mode or multi-mode optical fiber into a loose tube made of high modulus plastic filled with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforcement. For optical cables with certain cores, the metal center reinforcement is extruded with a layer of polyethylene. The loose tube (and filling rope) is twisted around the center reinforcement to form a compact and round cable core. The gap in the cable core is filled with water-blocking compound and extruded with polyethylene outer sheath. At the same time, a steel strand sling is installed to form a cable.
